JUNE 21, 1983:
THE NIGHT FOUR MEN SAW A UFO, ON MORTZ ROAD, MOHAWK, NY

Me, Phil Brien, Timmy Johnson and Jay Grimaldi were going to a party at our buddy, Fester’s house. We just picked up Jay from his girlfriend Julie’s house, Timmy was driving and I had to take a leak really bad. We pulled over on Mortz road so I could pee because I couldn’t wait anymore. Everyone joined me in a pee and we cracked open a beer as well. As we opened our beers, over in the field, about a quarter of a mile away we could see a large triangular object, hovering close to the ground. Below it, glowed a blueish green light. It was hovering around the field, almost like it was looking for something. As I pointed it out and we all became fixated on it, it seemed to become aware of our presence. It started to head for us and we jumped in Timmy’s car and took off. It followed us and we began to panic. It easily caught up to us and hovered over the car. We could feel the air get thicker as we were engulfed by a white light. The car would not start and we could not move either as we were paralyzed with fear. All of a sudden, the light went away. We saw the object go back in the field again and when it got into the center, it shined a very blue, bright light and vanished.

Aside from this incident, that night in the Mohawk Valley, many other strange things took place.

The next morning I woke up and wrote this poem after having a night filled with crazy dreams.

Dogs,

death,

deaf boy with a hearing aid, at play in the road.

Cats,

cry,

collide with a man on bike that is trying to light a cigarette.

Fish,

free,

factory worker found dead with tumor in his head.

Frogs,

foggy,

faith in Jesus is all ya need to set yer soul free.

Cows,

creek,

corn tastes the best in August and September.

Deer,

drum,

drunk little punk pukes in his neighbor’s above ground pool.

There is no doubt, that what we saw that night was an extraterrestrial spacecraft as I have never seen any man made object move like that. It changed my life and the way I look at God, death and what happens after we die. There has got to be something in the universe, better than man and we should be a little more humble about our existence.
